About Kin
Healthcare is still a black box for most Americans. Kin turns any medical visit into momentum and becomes the default patient AI layer that works in any exam room today: patient-controlled, privacy-forward, and designed to make care feel less confusing and more doable in the moments that count.
We are a physician-led team of repeat entrepreneurs with multiple successful exits, supported by world-class capital and strategic partners (including the former co-CEOs of GoodRx). We're hiring an Founding Operations Associate to keep our founders' time and our office running so smoothly that the rest of the team can stay heads-down building the future of patient healthcare.
Why this role matters
A small team runs on a thousand small things going right: meetings that actually happen, an office that's stocked and worth coming into, travel that doesn't fall apart, and the loose ends nobody else has picked up. When one person owns all of that and owns it well, everyone gets to do their best work and the day-to-day just feels better. That's what this role is here to do.
You'll keep the team and our founders organized, keep our Westwood Village office running, and be the person we turn to when something needs to happen and there's no obvious owner. It spans the high-trust (calendars, travel, sensitive information) and the hands-on (restocking the fridge, making sure lunch shows up), and the right person sees owning that whole surface as the point.
You'll work closely with our three co-founders, Arpan, Amit, and Kyle, and report to our co-founder and CEO, Arpan Parikh.
What you'll own at Kin
- Executive scheduling. Own the calendars for our three founders: prioritize ruthlessly, resolve conflicts before they happen, and protect focus time. You're the person who makes a packed week feel manageable.
- Travel and logistics. Book and coordinate travel, handle the inevitable changes, and make sure every trip is buttoned up end to end.
- Meeting and communication support. Prep agendas and materials, triage inbound where helpful, follow up on action items, and keep things from slipping through the cracks.
- Office management. Own our Westwood Village office: the space, supplies, restocking, deliveries, and the vendor relationships that keep it all running. The office should just work, and that's on you.
- Meals and lunches. Coordinate daily team lunches and keep the kitchen stocked so nobody has to think about it.
- Team events and culture moments. Plan offsites, celebrations, and the small touches that make a small team feel like one.
- New-hire and office logistics. Set up new teammates with what they need on day one: equipment, accounts, a desk, a warm welcome.
- The catchall. Be the first person we turn to when something needs to get done and doesn't have an owner yet. You make it happen.
What we're looking for
We're looking for someone who takes genuine pride in being the person who keeps everything running, and wants to be exceptional at it.
- Organized, reliable, and ready to own it. Some experience in an executive assistant, office management, operations, or coordination role, or comparable experience keeping people and logistics organized. What matters most is that you're great at this kind of work, not how senior your title has been.
- Ruthlessly organized. You track the details other people drop, run tight systems, and nothing falls through the cracks on your watch.
